There are several expert practitioners and academics who are associated with the Skoll Centre. All Oxford students and alumni can contact the centre to book one-to-one sessions one of our Skoll Centre Resident Experts - a group of highly experienced (and very approachable) social impact leaders who visit us each year for a few days of presentations and meetings.

Matthew Grimes currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he teaches in the areas of both strategic management and social entrepreneurship. Matthew’s research focuses on idea-stage entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and business incubation.

Saul is a former Partner of Index Ventures from 2007, until May 2015. A serial entrepreneur with two decades of experience building and exiting companies in both the US, Israel and Europe, Saul has a passion for working with seed and early stage businesses.

Sophie believes that a social entrepreneur’s mind is their greatest resource, and has worked with change-leaders across the globe as a mindfulness trainer for over 10 years. Sophie directs Saïd Business School’s Mindfulness in Business certificate programme for MBA students and is a trainer on the Skoll Centre's Leading for Impact programme.

Vinay is the Director of Business Development at Social and Sustainable Capital (SASC) a new, regulated social investment fund manager and itself a social enterprise. Vinay Nair also serves in the same capacity at SASC's partner organization, the Social Investment Business.

Jeremy Nicholls is the Chief Executive of Social Value International and Social Value UK. These are membership networks for those interested in measuring, managing and accounting for their social value, Jeremy Nicholls united by a common vision of changing the way the world accounts for value.

Milos Starovic, PhD, is a Vice President within the Risk Solutions Group in Barclays Bank London where he covers clients from the CEEMEA region. Milos has joined Barclays in 2008, initially in the Global Distribution team covering financial institutions from Southern Europe.
