Oxford Social Innovation Case Competition
The Oxford Social Innovation Case Competition (OSICC) is an annual one-day competition open to teams of 3-4 students from the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University.
Registered student teams will be given one of three cases centred on a social enterprise facing complex and interesting challenges and will have one full-day to formulate strategic and relevant solutions to those challenges before presenting them to a panel of distinguished judges, who will then select the winner for each case.
OSICC is a student led event that the Skoll Centre supports. Members of the Social Impact Oxford Business Network (SIOBN) will take on the running of this competition during their degree year at Oxford. Get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in running this initiative and are a current or incoming Oxford MBA student.
In 2016, the competition was sponsored by Prodigy Finance, the competition is dedicated to creating and engaging and educational opportunity for students to advance their knowledge about entrepreneurial approaches to social and environmental challenges.
Prodigy Finance is a global community, connecting the world's emerging talent with the access to financing it needs to thrive. Their international network of investors fund postgraduate loans for students from 150 countries, through a borderless model that prizes potential over geography.
