Shell Foundation & IBL Fellowships

New Application Round - Deadline 30 June

The Shell Foundation Fellowship offered with the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship has experienced great success in past years. Owing to unprecedented demand, Shell Foundation and the Skoll Centre have partnered with Impact Business Leaders (IBL), to scale up this extremely popular programme, opening up the opportunity to more Oxford students than ever before.

See the Fellowship Announcement here for full information. The next round of applications closes on 30 June 2014.

Impact Business Leaders (IBL) provides career opportunities for professionals looking to develop business solutions to major global challenges. The Impact Business Leaders programme has three main components geared to launch you into the social enterprise sector:

  1. potential job opportunities for up to one year with leading social enterprises or impact investors around the world
  2. a two week intensive practitioner-led training course
  3. personalised career counselling from IBL

Demonstrating strong ongoing commitment to fostering high potential talent in the global social enterprise sector, the Shell Foundation will support up to ten scholarships for IBL Fellows. These scholarships (of approximately £10,000 per Fellow) will be offered on a needs basis and at the Shell Foundation’s discretion.

The Scholarship will provide significant financial support to Fellows, to complement any market-based compensation paid by the placement organisation. Shell Foundation Scholarship recipients will be selected from the wider pool of selected IBL Fellows - Shell Foundation Scholarships will be considered only for those who are first successful IBL Fellows.
