Doctoral research

Accounting group professors are particularly, but not exclusively, keen to supervise candidates who are interested in a wide range of issues around IFRS, IASB, Environmental Reporting, CSR reporting and accounting in emerging economies. Those who have practical experience in accounting and auditing are also very welcome to apply. At Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, we’re internationally recognised for the quality of our research and teaching, attracting the best doctoral students and faculty from across the globe.

At Saïd Business School, research is a two-way conversation between faculty and students. We're home to 50 research students and approximately 100 faculty members. Doctoral (DPhil) students work alongside faculty on ground-breaking projects focusing on major international and interdisciplinary issues. Alongside colleagues, weekly seminars and community gatherings allow a productive exchange of views and exploring key topics. Prominent guest speakers are often invited.

We're a growing and thriving research hub. We're a community of ideas.

Saïd Business School is changing how we conduct business.
