Please join us for the Skoll Venture Awards Final Pitch Event!

We will be giving away £30,000 in grant funding at the annual Skoll Venture Awards Final Pitch Event.

Come along if you want to:

  • be inspired by ventures that get to the root of some of the significant issues affecting our world.
  • expand your network of energised and engaged social impact professionals.
  • listen to thought provoking insights from Tom Rippin, Founder and CEO of On Purpose.

Our MC for the evening will be Dr Peter Drobac, Director of the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. Finalists will present their ventures to an expert panel of judges where a pool of £30,000 in grant funding will be awarded on the night.

7.45pm: Judges deliberate and live entertainment

8.00pm – 9.00pm: Winners announced, and canapes served

Kai Pacha Foods www.kaipachafoods.com

Kai Pacha Foods purchases climate-smart native Andean foods from conservationist farmers at fair prices and uses these to make plant-based milks that are high in protein, environmentally friendly, and great-tasting. The product, sold under the brand MilQ, is made with native quinoa and tarwi.

Devie

Devie provides a trusted digital companion that guides parents on their journey from pregnancy to parenthood, equipping them to become their child’s best first teacher.

The alpha version of the OptiMum chatbot is accessible through Facebook Messenger and provides parents with wellbeing and early childhood development support through daily 10 minute instant-message conversations.

Intellicharge Limited: intellicharge.co.uk

Intellicharge is a software startup with a mission to power electric vehicles (EVs) with the cheapest and cleanest energy while helping grid balance. They use the IoT approach connecting EVs and/or EV charging infrastructure with multiple energy market dynamics, including electricity wholesale and system prices, and renewable energy generation profile to optimise and automatically control EV energy consumption.
