Join guest speaker Laurence Moroney as he discusses the implications of artificial intelligence on our daily lives.
We are delighted that Laurence Moroney will be our guest speaker for this year’s Rewley Lecture. A year since AI chatbot tools such as ChatGPT, Bing AI and Bard became household names who better to join us at to explore the tools, trends and opportunities that can come from machine learning.
Laurence leads AI Advocacy at Google and works to educate, inspire and inform developers, as well as those with a non-tech or coding background, about the possibilities of artificial intelligence systems. He is a prolific author, speaker and thought-leader on AI and also runs the TensorFlow YouTube channel. TensorFlow is an open-source machine learning framework for everyone and through its YouTube channel shares with everyone its latest news, tutorials and best practices.
While he recognises that there are risks associated with AI he challenges the dystopian narrative and believes we are on the ‘cusp of a technological renaissance’.
The Rewley Lecture is an annual Saïd Business School event and it is an opportunity for us to gather our community together to discuss some of humanity’s biggest challenges. We very much hope you will be able to join us.
