The Private Equity Institute will be hosting a Private Capital Bootcamp
On 27 and 28 May 2020, the first Private Capital Bootcamp will be taking place at Oxford Saïd. The Bootcamp is a collaboration between the Private Equity Research Consortium (PERC) and the Private Equity Institute, and precedes the PERC European Symposium on 28 and 29 May. Bootcamp sessions will be run by leading professors working on private capital including Greg Brown (UNC), Tim Jenkinson (Oxford), Ludovic Phalippou (Oxford) and David Robinson (Duke). Participants will automatically be enrolled in the Symposium.
We welcome applications from PhD students who are currently studying in their 2nd year or beyond, and are focusing in their research on private equity, venture capital, private debt or any other form of private capital.Those with draft research papers will have an opportunity to do a quick-fire pitch of their research.To be considered for a place on the Bootcamp, please complete the application form and upload the following documents by 1 March 2020.

- a brief statement of your research intentions
On 2 March 2020, your supervisor will be contacted to provide a supporting statement for your application.
If you are successful in your application you will be notified by the end of March 2020.
The Bootcamp will start at 14:00 on 27 May and will finish at 16:00 on 28 May. The Symposium then starts at 17:30. Accommodation and meals will be provided. There is no charge for attending the Bootcamp but please be aware that participants will be responsible for organising, and paying for, their travel arrangements.
