10 Years after the global financial crisis, what lessons do we need to remember?
The 2019 conference is being jointly hosted by Saïd Business School and the Oxford Real Estate Society and will be held on 20 March at Oxford Saïd. The conference will focus on 10 years after the global financial crisis, what lessons do we need to remember?
It will explore lessons learnt from the downturn, from how to prepare for a correction to incorporating flexibility in asset management strategies, as well as a wider assessment of the impact of real estate cycles. It will also be exploring themes that appear different this time around, from approaches to fixing European housing markets to the evolution of proptech. Finally it will look ahead to debate the potential consequences of the next real estate downturn.
The conference will include four panels, a debate, a keynote speaker and ample networking opportunities. The day will conclude with a cocktail reception and an optional dinner at Worcester College.
