While there is still debate around the way women are portrayed in some advertising or how brands talk to women, it is also clear that over the past 100 years many brands, across categories, have also connected with women meaningfully. They have used messaging and images in their marketing campaigns that promote and encourage strength, diversity, and confidence in women, and speak to them about the things that really matter.
