Digital transformation is a journey, not a destination

Discover more about digital transformations with Professor Andrew Stephen, Professor Ujwal Kayande and a panel of industry leaders.

Consumers, markets, platforms and, amongst all, technology is changing faster then we ever thought possible. It is easy to get distracted, and even lost, in this new world of tools and apps in the cloud, hence effective digital transformations require a delicate balancing act between being a force for positive disruption and knowing when to step back and wait, no matter the industry or the size of your business. When embarking on this journey, business leaders need to understand that due to the continual evolution of technology and services, the work will never be done or finished, otherwise the value of change and transformation is misunderstood. The companies that are most likely to succeed in digital transformation are those with open minds that are happy to take risks, and which keep humans in the forefront and at the core of every decision made.

Join Professor Andrew Stephen, Professor Ujwal Kayande and a panel of industry leaders for an evening event in Sydney /Melbourne, where they will share their perspectives on digital transformation, discuss examples of transformations that work, and debate what it really takes to lead successful digital transformations.

Andrew Stephen is Associate Dean of Research and L’Oréal Professor of Marketing at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and an expert on marketing and technology. He is also Director of the Oxford Future of Marketing Initiative.
