Responsible Business Forum:The Economics of Mutuality

2019 Responsible Business Forum: The economics of mutuality - Putting purpose into practice

About this forum

A platform for MBA students and business leaders to consider how tomorrows management tools transform business behaviour through mutual profit

This forum is organised jointly by Oxford Saïd Business School along with Mars Catalyst, the think-tank of Mars Incorporated, as part of their multi-year joint research programme.

It brings together MBA students with senior executives from businesses, foundations and NGOs, academics, investors and government policymakers, for a day of collaboration, contemplation and deliberation. New performance metrics, new management practices and new modes of profit construction are presented by practitioners and academics in master classes and workshops.

The day has been designed to encourage audience interaction with:

  • Question and answer sessions
  • Case studies
  • Plenary sessions
  • Debate
  • TED talk
  • Skill shops
  • Hosted lunch tables
  • Networking sessions

The purpose of the day is to demonstrate how 'new' management thinking, aims to rebuild trust in business and finance and create opportunities for businesses to grow faster, be more profitable and act more responsibly.
