We are recruiting a Degree Programme Administrator to support the delivery of Oxford Saïd’s full-time Degrees which includes the MBA, MFE, DPhil and Undergraduate programmes. The post will be based within the Student and Programmes Services (SPS) unit at the School, that supports admissions, programmes and career development to deliver a seamless customer experience for degree students and executive education participants. This is a dynamic and busy role, so it is essential that applicants can demonstrate that they can balance priorities and deliver outcomes successfully across a variety of tasks working to competing deadlines.
The Programme Administrator plays a crucial role in the success of each programme as their performance in this role impacts the overall experience of the students. One of the key requirements for this post is the ability to resolve issues in a timely way which is sensitive both to student needs and University requirements. Possessing the ability to stay calm under pressure, you will demonstrate initiative, possess excellent organisational skills and always planning ahead. The Programme Administrator is required to work closely with a range of key stakeholders, including faculty, students and support staff to ensure the professional delivery of the Programmes and to provide an exceptional level of service.
In this role you will be required to champion the programmes to a wide range of audiences and to maintain a positive and engaged relationship with multinational and highly articulate students and a varied range of internal and external stakeholders. Therefore, it is essential that you are able to communicate to a high, professional standard, both in a written and oral capacity. You will be flexible in adapting to the particular requirements of the programme and it’s Programme Director. Providing support at evenings and weekends may be required to support the running of the programme, and there may be opportunities for international travel.
To be considered at shortlisting you will have excellent customer service skills and a professional manner with the ability to confidently build rapport. Previous experience of project/event management will be required as well as the ability to work to tight, demanding deadlines without compromising on quality. Accuracy and attention to detail is vital as well as the confidence to work on your own initiative.
Please note that this role is a 1 year fixed-term contract covering a secondment.
