Samoa: Cybersecurity Capacity Review 2018
In April 2018 at the invitation of Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), and in collaboration with International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Global Cyber Security Capacity Centre (GCSCC) from the University of Oxford, together with its regional partner, the Oceania Cyber Security Centre (OCSC) conducted a review of the cybersecurity capacity of the Independent State of Samoa.
The objective of this review was to enable the government of Samoa to benchmark national cybersecurity capacity and set priorities for strategic investment and capacity development, using the GCSCC’s Cybersecurity Capacity Maturity Model for Nations (CMM). Support for the CMM review in Samoa comes from the Government of Victoria.
