IDB/OAS - Cybersecurity Report 2016: Are We Ready in Latin America and the Caribbean?
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Organization of American States (OAS) has released a new study, carried out by the two institutions with the support of the Global Cyber Security Capacity Centre (GCSCC).
The 2016 Cybersecurity Report, Are we ready in Latin America and the Caribbean?, shows the region is highly vulnerable to potentially devastating cyber-attacks: four out of every five countries in the region do not have a cybersecurity strategy or plans for protecting critical infrastructure.
The report analyses the state of preparedness of 32 countries based on 49 indicators as defined in the Cyber Security Capability Maturity Model (CMM).
Additionally to the report, a website was created which allows to interact with the data and compare countries in the region: observatoriociberseguridad.com
