Aims / objectives:

The planning, implementation, and operation of the National CIRT

Activities:

Planning, site identification & preparation, equipment and software procurement, installation & testing, staffing, HR training

National CIRT implementation can be undertaken in 11 months if the country is fully engaged at all times

Outcome / impact:

A functional National CIRT that is geared for international recognition

12 National CIRTs have been implemented and 3 are currently underway. There are 102 National CIRTs worldwide.

Period:

Start 2012, ongoing on a demand basis
