Having completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Tammy worked in marketing in her native South Africa for nearly eight years before moving to England. She has been working for the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School’s MBA programme since she joined the School and heads up their Africa engagement. Her responsibilities include identifying and supporting MBA applicants with a specific focus on recruiting African students; the development of B2B integrated activities; broadening the School’s networks across the continent; and working with individuals and organisations to develop funding for scholarships.
Tammy brings a personal passion to support the increase the number of African applicants and students on the MBA programme, this includes hosting School-led information and recruitment events that include one-to-one support sessions across the globe and in many African countries. Her current role as the Africa MBA Recruitment Manager combines her interest in marketing and business development with her desire to promote the African growth story, and continues to be an advocate for greater levels of investment into talent from across Africa.
