Global community

We encourage an open and multidisciplinary approach. We forge close links with other academic institutions and organisations across the world to create a positive influence on society and the world economy. Examples include:

Collaboration with Peking University

We are proud to host the Guanghua School of Management EMBA International Module, designed as an international cross-cultural experience within the development journey.

The module is a unique opportunity for professionals to assess leadership challenges in western cultures, as well as frameworks for business in western economies. Delivered by the Saïd Business School in conjunction with Guanghua School of Management, the programme also features a review of private equity global trends and applications, M&A opportunities in turbulent times,  investment trends, IPO markets, techniques and shareholder relations.

Guanghua School of Management is an integral part of Peking University, the oldest and most prestigious university in the Chinese speaking countries.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK

Following Oxford’s collaboration in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 women initiative, we are supporting the development and delivery of 10,000 Small Businesses UK, an education programme designed to unlock the economic and job creation potential of small businesses and social enterprises operating in the United Kingdom. Oxford has been the UK National Curriculum Manager since the launch of the initiative in the UK, coordinating the academic delivery partners Leeds University Business School, Manchester Metropolitan University Business School, Aston Business School and University College London. In 2013 Oxford took on an additional role as National Alumni Manager. The initiative is funded by Goldman Sachs and the Goldman Sachs Foundation.

Seed Fund

The Entrepreneurship Centre supports entrepreneurs via a Seed Fund, which invests £15-25K in startups led by Oxford students and alumni. For first-time entrepreneurs not quite ready for investment, the Seed Fund Team also operates a Lean LaunchPad business model development programme to help them build business models and prepare their ventures for future funding.
