Climate Change Challenge
Delivered in partnership between Oxford Saïd and Burjeel Holdings
In 2023, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and Burjeel Holdings came together to embark on a transformative journey inspired by our shared commitment to addressing climate change. Drawing upon our collective expertise and resources, we forged a partnership grounded in the belief that education and innovation are paramount in tackling the one of the most pressing challenges of our time – climate change.
With ongoing scenes of severe disruption across the world caused by climate change, there has never been a more urgent
time to inspire and mobilise the next generation of leaders, change makers
and innovators.
Climate Change Challenge
During the world's hottest summer ever recorded (2023), together with Burjeel Holdings we launched the annual Oxford Saïd-Burjeel Holdings Climate Change Challenge - a global initiative aimed at empowering high school students and teachers to become catalysts for change in the fight against climate change. The competition, now in it's second year, invites students to showcase their innovative solutions and encourages teachers to create impactful lesson plans, fostering environmental awareness and sustainability.
