This is a key role within the SPS unit’s Degree Programme Services team which delivers support for the School’s executive degrees, including Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), MSc Major Programme Management (MMPM) and Postgraduate Diplomas in Strategy & Innovation, Financial Strategy, Organisational Leadership and Global Business.

As Senior Assessment Manager you will lead a small team (c.4 grade 5 Assessment Administrators) and be responsible for delivery of all assessment components including formal examinations across the executive degree portfolio.  You will provide direction, translating strategy into operational outcomes, motivating and developing your team members to deliver excellent customer service to our executive students and faculty.

Working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders internally and externally will be essential for the success of this role.  You will need to be able to work within tight deadlines and with a high degree of confidentiality.

This will include taking a leading role in developing and maintaining appropriate quality assurance mechanisms and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation. You will also provide expert advice on assessment matters to fellow administrators within the School and wider University, particularly examiners and faculty assessing on executive degrees.

To be successful in this role you will need to build rapport and naturally engage and interact with all departments within the School and the wider University.
