Are you an experienced Events and Facilities Coordinator? Due to expansion we are looking for an events coordinator to join our team at the Oxford Foundry on a 1 year fixed-term contract.

The mission of the Oxford Foundry is to foster a community and network for the entire University of Oxford that inspires and develops students’ entrepreneurial mind and skill sets and empowers new venture creation for commercial and social impact.

The Oxford Foundry is a new centre for entrepreneurship across the University of Oxford, supporting budding entrepreneurs to build strong transformative ventures that will impact the world in positive ways. The Oxford Foundry will enable student to create ventures, add value to spin-outs and start-ups, and increase the number of graduates with entrepreneurial skills, University of Oxford students, alumni, faculty and staff. Our goal is to engage 20% of the Oxford University student body within 3-5 years.

The Events and Facilities Co-ordinator is responsible for the planning and execution of Oxford Foundry programmes and events. This position will be responsible for coordinating all events hosted for and hosted at the Foundry. This will include co-ordinating catering, logistics, AV/IT, daily space management, supporting the Operations Manager and Programme Managers in fielding enquiries for events with and at the Foundry. You will develop relationships with colleagues in events teams and catering at the Business School and across the University alongside developing new relationships with potential supporters and service providers to the Foundry, ensuring that all Foundry events are executed in a manner which exceeds the expectations of our internal and external partners and contributes to the objectives of Oxford Foundry.
