Career Coach and Employer Engagement Manager
Grade 8: £40,792 - £48,677 with a discretionary range to £53,174 p.a.
Oxford Saïd Business School is recruiting for a Career Coach and Employer Engagement Manager to join the Consulting Careers team on a permanent basis.
As one of the Career Coach and Employer Engagement Manager, Consulting Careers, your role is to collaboratively design and deliver development programmes for our Business School postgraduate students and alumni, balancing student aspirations and the needs of the market, by delivering Workshops, Group sessions and 1-1 Coaching. This is a responsible, demanding and pivotal role requiring you to deliver employer business development and relationship management activities from the consulting sector. This includes understanding the talent needs of employers, bringing them to campus, publishing their jobs and connecting these organisations to the broader Oxford and Saïd Business School community.
The key areas of responsibility for this role are to co-design, project-manage and deliver parts of the Consulting Development Programme; coach students and alumni; provide student, alumni and employer outreach; actively network with senior management to raise the profile of the School and its students; provide labour market insight; partner with and build active and collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the School; build relationships with Oxford Business Networks (OBNs) and provide services to the Career Development Centre and the wider School community.
To be considered for shortlisting, you must have: worked in consulting field, tackling talent, career or people development and/or recruitment activities (e.g. external HC/HR consultant, or internal L&D, Talent or recruitment manager); project management skills; career guidance, coaching and training experience including designing and delivering engaging career and talent development activities to groups and individuals; excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach individuals through career transitions and the ability to adapt your approach according to different audience needs; understanding and passion for consulting firms, including knowledge of their recruitment procedures and practices.
