Administrative Assistant - Marketing & HR

Grade 4: £22,017- £27,830 p.a.

Oxford Saïd is looking to recruit a proactive and committed Administrative Assistant to provide general support to the HR and Marketing and Communications Departments at the School. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in a career in Higher Education administration.

You will work closely with the Director of HR and Director of Marketing and Communications, acting as first point of contact and managing a range of enquires, including responding to and prioritising email and telephone calls and managing calendar commitments. You will help with organising meetings, organising/preparing meeting agendas, and will help with financial matters including raising Purchase Orders. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining effective administrative process.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of effective administration. You should be a self-starter, with the ability to know when to use your initiative and when to seek advice, and have strong organisation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, are also essential.
