Coronavirus information

The UK government have asked that people should not leave their homes, except in exceptional circumstances.  As a result, our buildings have been closed until further notice. 

As a truly international School, we recognize this is an uncertain and difficult time for all in so many different parts of the world and are working hard to share information as and when we can.

The following pages have been set up to provide information for anyone visiting our School website with questions or concerns about coronavirus (COVID-19). It is updated on a regular basis.

The health, welfare, and safety of our visitors, students, course participants and employees remains the number one priority for us all. As an integral department of the University of Oxford, we follow their guidance and advice.

Visitors and event attendees

We have postponed our in-person events and conferences for the foreseeable future. If you are booked to attend an event you will receive a communication from your event organiser. We hope to be able to announce a programme of online events in the near future so please check our website for updates on a regular basis.

If you are participating in an event or meeting being run by an external organisation at our School, please contact your meeting organiser.

Academic visitors

Unfortunately we are unable to host in-person visits until further notice but we continue to process applications for future visits.


Our Programme teams are keeping our student community updated with the latest guidance. Please contact your Programme services team for any queries.

Our Executive Education Open Programmes have also suspended in-person teaching however our online programmes are unaffected. Please contact your Open Programmes business development contact if you require more information.

We will continue to operate online and work remotely and we will stay together as a School community, despite being physically separated at present. 

Staff, faculty and researchers

A daily information bulletin email has been set up to provide staff, researchers and faculty with up to date information as well as advice and access to resources. If you have any queries, please send them to the email box that has been set up. Details can be found in the daily bulletin. If you do not receive the daily bulletin, please contact your line manager.
