Neta Livneh is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
Her research focuses on consumer engagement on digital platforms, blending methods from data analytics, machine learning, and econometrics.
Neta’s research focuses on social influence and consumer engagement on digital platforms, providing insights for platforms and brands on product dissemination, the benefits and mischief of applying privacy-safe behaviours, and the adaptation of social features. She uses theories and methodologies across diverse fields including marketing, information systems, psychology, sociology, and computer science, blending methods from big Data analytics, machine learning, network science, and econometrics.
Neta currently has research work under review and is in the process of submission. Her PhD research investigated how social influence shapes consumer behaviour on digital platforms by using large-scale datasets and advanced analytical techniques as well as exploring patterns of product adoption and engagement.
Prior to her appointment at Oxford, Neta served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Tel Aviv University’s Coller School of Management for 3 years. Neta completed her PhD in Information Systems at the School of Business Administration at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and holds a BSc in Mathematics and Cognitive Sciences and an MA in Cognitive Sciences
