Matthew Conisbee

He takes a leading role with the School’s faculty on curriculum development and works across the School and its research centres to develop a diverse and compelling co-curricular programme for the students to benefit from. He is also responsible for the quality of the candidates, and has a keen focus on setting ambitious School targets to ensure both high calibre but also diverse cohorts.

Previously he held the role of Client Director (Major Projects) in the custom arm of the School’s executive education portfolio. The focus of this role was to drive the growth and impact of the School's work in the public value area. The role spanned taking the lead on the market and business development strategy, leading large public tender responses, to the design, delivery and direction of customised executive education, with a particular focus on working closely with governments and large corporates in delivering public value programmes.

Matthew has also spent a part of his career working as a sustainability consultant for Deloitte, and in the early part of his career, worked in the travel industry to develop responsible and sustainable tourism practices, particularly in South America and in the Amazon basin. He holds an MA in Modern Languages and an MSc in Planning & Sustainability.
