Profile

Kurt holds a number of key roles in academia and industry.

Kurt is Sainsbury Fellow and tenured Professor of Leadership, Diversity & Inclusion at the Graduate School of Business of the University of Cape Town (South Africa), an Associate Fellow of Said Business School (University of Oxford, UK), Research Fellow of Ashridge-Hult (UK), Faculty Member of Duke Corporate Education (Duke University, USA), and Visiting Professor at London Metropolitan University (UK).

Outside of academia, Kurt is Managing Partner of LICM Consulting (South Africa), Non-Executive Director of Power Group Holdings - Construction & Developments (South Africa), Non-Executive Director of the Achievement Awards Group (South Africa), Chairman of the International Advisory Council (DIAC) to Novartis International (Switzerland) and Non-Executive Director of the International School of Cape Town (Education Development Trust, UK). He has published over 145 academic works/articles, as well as authored and co-authored eight books, and is currently working on two other books: Personal Resilience and Narrative Identity.
