Jean Dowson is a programme director, tutor and coach. She has over 30 years’ experience in leadership, training and management appointments, both overseas and in the UK, including 15 years' board-level experience.

Jean left the British Army in 2006 as the most senior serving female officer in the Armed Services, and established a partnership supporting aspiring middle and senior executives to achieve their goals. She is an insightful, commercially aware and excellent facilitator, trainer and accredited coach, with a successful track record.

Jean has designed and delivered leadership and development programmes for public and private sector clients, and she has a wide portfolio of coaching clients in the UK and internationally, including seven UK universities. Jean has worked with BAE Systems, MAN Trucks Ltd, the Government of Abu Dhabi, Nexen Oil & Gas Inc, Commerzbank, Royal Bank of Scotland, the Education and Training Foundation, the Financial Conduct Authority, AstraZeneca, the Equality and Human Rights Commission, Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, HM Prison Service, Razak School of Government, Malaysia and the Royal Mail Group.

Jean has an MBA and BSc and two coaching diplomas. She is a qualified emotional intelligence assessor and trained to use psychometrics such as Myers Briggs, NEO, Predictive Index, and Hogan assessments. Jean is also an NLP practitioner.

She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a fellow of the Institute of Learning and Management.
