Arlen Dean

His research focuses on machine learning and other data-driven decision-making algorithms for healthcare and online marketplace settings. At Saïd Business School, he is working with Agni Orfanoudaki, an Associate Professor of Operations Management, on projects that aim to understand how AI tools could be positioned to better support human decision-makers in practice.

Arlen holds a PhD in Operations Research and an MS in Statistics from the University of Michigan.
