Andrew’s specialist interests include organisational change, leadership development, resilience and motivation.
He works internationally in universities and management consultancy. Andrew has held faculty appointments at Harvard, Columbia, Oxford and Aberystwyth universities, and visiting professorships (in leadership and management) at the Cass Business School and the University of South Wales.
He has written many books on a range of business sectors (such as law, communications, banking, logistics, property, search and the military) and he has been at the centre of three national UK leadership reviews for the NHS and Police.
Andrew currently advises various clients on leadership development. He is Research Director of the MOD’s Antarctic Endurance (longitudinal study of stress and grit).
Andrew is involved in the design and development of executive education programmes at some of the UK’s top business schools.
He has degrees from Cambridge and Oxford universities and he was a Kennedy fellow at Harvard.
