Product and Portfolio Manager, Executive Education

Grade 8: £45,585-£54,395 per annum with an Oxford University weighting of £1,500 per annum to be applied with effect from 1 August 2024.

Fixed-term (one year), full time

The Product and Portfolio Manager will manage an existing product portfolio and develop new product offerings in line with market and customer needs, aligned with our thematic communities of interest. Reporting to the Associate Director, Product and Portfolio, you will work closely with colleagues in faculty, sales and marketing to drive sales and results for your portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in product management and development, who can collaborate effectively across teams to achieve business goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and review an existing product portfolio within a thematic area.
  • Generate product development opportunities aligned with market and customer needs.
  • Conduct financial and strategic modelling of new product options.
  • Develop marketing plans with the Associate Director, Marketing Communications and performance marketing.
  • Contract with programme directors and faculty, managing terms and budgets.

You will have a solid understanding of product management, promotion and delivery within an educational setting, alongside demonstrable experience in new product development from inception to launch. You must also have a proven track record of collaborating with academic colleagues to deliver and evaluate effective programmes.
