Part-time Programme Administrator

Grade 5: £25,941 - £30,942 with a discretionary range to £33,797 p.a. (pro rata)

The Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), originally conceived at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, is one of the world’s premier programmes for seed-stage, massively scalable science-based ventures. The programme targets companies that have the potential to transform our social, industrial and economic landscape.

CDL has opened its first site outside North America, based at Saïd Business School, as a joint venture between Oxford Saïd and the Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Division of the University. CDL-Oxford will concentrate on the area of AI in its first year.

The Programme Administrator is a core member of the CDL-Oxford team. She/he will be responsible for general administration tasks to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the programme, as well as supporting the planning and delivery of events. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to proofread and draft correspondence, experience of planning and logistics with emphasis on supporting the planning, organising and execution of events from inception to completion, strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop close working relationships with colleagues and a can-do attitude and willingness to get involved with a variety of tasks. Please note this is a 3 year fixed-term contract and being offered on a part time basis (0.8FTE/29.2 hours per week).
