Saïd Business School is seeking a proactive communicator to join our Corporate Marketing team in the role of Press Coordinator. This is a brilliant opportunity for a confident and articulate individual looking to progress their career in public relations.

The Press Coordinator will join a small and very busy PR team responsible for strengthening Oxford Saïd’s global reputation by developing public awareness and understanding of the School among international media and key external audiences. The postholder will support and contribute to all aspects of the work of the press and communications office, as well as collaborating with the wider corporate marketing team, especially on content creation for the website and social media.

With excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills, the postholder will provide the first point of contact for media enquiries and build their own personal relationships with key media contacts; write press releases and other materials for journalists; write engaging copy and news items for the school website; maintain administrative systems; and support the social media strategy.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to draft written material of a high standard with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. An exceptional communicator, you must have a high degree of organisational ability and be able to work effectively and flexibly on a number of concurrent projects and to tight deadlines. The position would suit someone with experience in media and PR.
