Part-time Communications Officer - Special Projects
Grade 5: £25,941 - £30,942 with discretionary range to £33,797 pa (pro rata)
Fixed term for 6 months
We are looking for a Communications Officer to join our Corporate Marketing team and play a key role in planning and managing community campaigns around the redevelopment of and Oxford’s Osney Power Station into the Global Leadership Centre. The teaching and residential facility will provide leaders of global business, government and civil society, with expert insights and perspectives to enable them to challenge existing systems and become a positive force to address environmental, social and governance issues
In this role you will ensure that employees and local resident’s needs are at the heart of our thinking and consideration. You’ll work collaboratively with local people and businesses, develop innovative ways to spread the word and share our vision. You’ll be in close contact with the project team to make sure you are aware of the key milestones and developments. You’ll also help us to attract interest from prospective clients and donors for this exciting project. As the public face of community engagement, you’ll design and deliver a strategy that ensures local residents and employees concerns are listened to and actions taken whenever possible.
To be considered at shortlisting you should excellent communication skills with proven experience of leading community engagement strategies. You will be comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders at different levels of seniority, and have knowledge and experience of social media campaigns and implementation. You will also have experience of producing and presenting written reports.
Please note this is a part-time (18.25 hours per week), fixed-term post offered for 6 months.
