Head of Marketing, Open Programmes
Grade 9: £48,114 - £55,750 (with a discretionary range to £60,905) pa

Reporting to the Director - Open Programmes, the post holder will lead the marketing section of the Open Programmes team, with overall responsibility for the development of marketing strategies to meet the recruitment targets of the portfolio. Working closely with key stakeholders, the role will lead a team that will devise and implement differentiated and integrated marketing strategies and annual tactical plans. Marketing practices will utilise the entire marketing mix, with particular emphasis on digital marketing in order to attract an internationally diverse cohort of high calibre individuals, raise the School’s profile and reputation, and contribute to the delivery of participant acquisition targets though strong lead generation and conversion activities.
The post holder will also be responsible for leading innovative development of new portfolio wide initiatives and projects into digital and communications strategies that will enhance the recruitment activity of the team, and that enable the optimised interaction of the marketing lead generation and business development conversion activities. The role will also lead the team’s planning and delivery of communications plans, content strategies and roll out of all marketing materials.
The post holder will line manage three Marketing Managers and two Marketing Officers and have grandparent management of the Alumni Communications Assistant, with responsibility for the performance review, development and appraisal of the team.
