Head of Individual Giving

Grade 8: £41,526 - £49,553 with a discretionary range to £54,131 pa


We are looking for a creative and strategic  Head of Individual Giving who will work closely with the School's fundraising team to develop and deliver a philanthropic and individual giving strategy.

Saïd Business School delivers business education and ground-breaking research that transforms individuals, organisations, business practice, and society. It is a great time to join Oxford Saïd; the School is in the process of redeveloping the Osney Power Station into a Global Leadership Centre, which will provide global leaders with expert insights and perspectives to enable them to challenge existing systems and become a positive force to address environmental, social and governance issues.

You will work closely with the Associate Director of Fundraising and wider team within the School and University to create and deliver successful donor strategies and outcomes. Fundraising priorities include capital projects, entrepreneurship activities, graduate scholarships, key academic posts, research programmes and infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to work across a number of important and high profile projects, and will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of potential donors able to support the business school, typically in the range of £10,000 - £1,000,000 over time.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have a proven track record in fundraising or sales / business development, and be educated to degree level or equivalent. You should have a general understanding of the external context in which the school operates, and will have the credibility and confidence to influence at the highest level. A collaborative and flexible working style is essential.
