We are looking for a creative marketing professional with knowledge of fundraising to play a vital role in Oxford Saïd’s Development team.

The Fundraising Marketing Officer will be essential to the Development team’s execution of a communications strategy to donors, with development of the School’s fundraising online presence and implementations of a regular giving campaign. This role will be responsible for assisting in the articulation and design of fundraising projects. The postholder is also responsible for scheduling and drafting outgoing correspondence to key donors, prospects and volunteers, managing records and tracking and reporting on the status of fundraising plans.

In this role you will develop the School’s fundraising pages online to appeal to varied users driven to the website, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing advice and guidance on fundraising systems and processes, prospect and project information, answering queries and providing updates and feedback.

In order to be considered for this post you will have ideally have previous experience of the role and processes of fundraising or marketing in the charity sector/higher education sector. You will have previous data management experience and an ability to research, collate, report and present information to a high standard to a variety of stakeholders and prospects. You will also have excellent communication skills, be able to work on your own initiative and will have the proven ability to place at ease, and manage relationships with, diverse individuals.
