We partner with organisations globally to provide bespoke education that drives transformation and fosters leadership. As we continue to expand our offerings, we are seeking two dynamic and experienced Commercial Bid Managers to join our team.

As a Commercial Bid Manager, you will oversee the entire bid process working with various stakeholders, from opportunity qualification to final submission, ensuring that all bids are strategically aligned, commercially viable and compliant with University governance processes. Your role is crucial in ensuring that every bid is not only accurate and complete but also compelling, reflecting the excellence of our services working alongside our Sales Team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the full bid process, including stakeholder meetings, commercial and bid response creation and final submission, while ensuring adherence to all internal governance processes.
  • Collaborate with faculty, Client and Market Directors, and external partners to craft compelling proposals that clearly communicate Executive Education’s value proposition and align with client needs.
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies and commercial propositions in collaboration with the senior management and Finance Team.
  • Engage with sales team and/or directly with new clients to understand their needs and tailor solutions that showcase how we can meet their requirements.
  • Gather and analyse competitive intelligence to inform bid strategies and improve future proposals.

You should have extensive experience managing complex bids or procurement-led tasks, with a proven track record in senior-level business development, including building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders. You should possess strong commercial acumen, including budget creation and familiarity with contract terms, as well as effective negotiation skills. A solid understanding of project management methodologies and contract governance is essential, along with excellent communication skills for writing and presenting proposals.
