Associate Director, EMBA Recruitment and Business Development

Grade 9: £47,263 - £54,765 with discretionary range to £59,828 p.a.

We are recruiting an Associate Director, EMBA Recruitment and Business Development who will be responsible for the management and delivery of Oxford Saїd’s EMBA recruitment strategy.

Reporting to the EMBA Director the Associate Director, EMBA Recruitment and Business Development manages the recruitment strategy and budget. You will be responsible for ensuring that marketing and recruitment activities are aligned with the overall strategy for the programme and the Said Business School. The Associate Director is accountable for meeting recruitment targets for the EMBA programme, working closely with the EMBA Director and the Associate Dean for the MBA and Executive Degrees. You will oversee a team of five, including recruitment managers and a marketing expert, and will be responsible for allocating budget and coordinating their activities. You will be expected to work closely with faculty and administration, and to coordinate efforts across the school, particularly with recruitment in the MBA programme and Executive diplomas and degrees. You will be expected to participate in recruitment events as needed and to represent the Said Business School and its EMBA programme to key external stakeholders. 

To be considered at shortlisting you will have a proven track record of success in a business development role with the ability to meet and exceed revenue targets, preferably within the business school or commercial training sectors. Previous management experience is highly desired. You will be comfortable developing and managing relationships in person and on the phone on a daily basis and have excellent communications skills with prior experience of writing and presenting proposals. 

In addition you will have a flexible approach to work with a willingness to travel internationally to attend events and meetings.
