Apprentice Events and Administration Assistant
Apprentice Grade 1: £17,682 pa. (salary progression through successful completion of programme)
You will work as an Events and Administration Assistant Apprentice within the Entrepreneurship Centre at Saïd Business School. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team and to gain practical experience and training. This position plays an important part in providing operational, events and administrative support to the delivery of the Entrepreneurship Centre programmes and events. This involves working on the implementation of major Centre initiatives with Programme Managers from start to finish, as well as supporting one-off events.
The postholder will have exposure to the ideas and teaching related to entrepreneurship within a world-class University and have the chance to meet inspiring change makers from around the world. The role will be supervised by the Programme Manager.
The apprenticeship includes an initial 20-month training programme that will cover all aspects of the role and will be delivered through in-house training, as well as day-release or other distance learning methods delivered by Abingdon & Witney College. You will complete a Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship and you will gain a Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration qualification
College attendance and successful completion of these studies is an essential requirement of this Apprenticeship.
You should be educated to GCSE standard (English and Maths grade 4 or above) or equivalent. The position involves demonstrating strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to developing your skills.
