The Administration Officer supports the Programme Director in managing the Oxford Saïd Finance Lab Programme and supports the Private Equity Institute in the scheduling and delivery of its events. The Oxford Saïd Finance Lab and The Oxford Private Equity Institute aim to be recognised by their peers as amongst the World’s premier groups in their respective fields.
The Administration Officer is responsible for all elements of the day-to-day administration of the Lab and is responsible for the provision of an exceptional level of service to the Director, students, banks and private equity firms who attend. You will work closely with the Directors of the Oxford Saïd Finance Lab and the Private Equity Institute. This is a role that would suit someone who wants and is able to support demanding senior finance professionals in managing a complex programme with many external participants.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for executive and undergraduate students on lab-related matters ranging from applications to course logistics. You will ensure that all module logistics are delivered to a high standard against strict deadlines, and work with Oxford Saïd marketing office to develop appropriate marketing support for programme events, including use of social media for promotional purposes. You will also provide executive assistance and support for Finance Lab Director.
To be considered at shortlisting you should have strong organisational and communication skills with a personable and confident approach to working with colleagues at all levels. You should have experience of diary management at a senior level, of organising and co-ordinating events, and of using social media and LinkedIn.
Please note this role may be offered on a full-time or part-time basis (minimum of 22 hours per week).
