Support entrepreneurship

Oxford Foundry

Oxford Foundry

Oxford Foundry brings students from across the University of Oxford together to maximise the impact of social entrepreneurship.

We are creating a diverse, student-led community where innovation and creativity live and breathe. We want to support all of our 23,000 students across the University – whether they are lawyers, medics, engineers or philosophers – in becoming more entrepreneurial people.

The Foundry is a student-led and student-centric facility, which will encourage and support our students in gaining deeper self-awareness, and in developing an entrepreneurial mindset.

Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship

The Skoll Centre is an internationally renowned social impact centre at Saïd Business School.

Our goal is to maximise the impact of social entrepreneurship to transform unjust or unsatisfactory systems or practices around the world and address critical social and environmental challenges.

We do this by:

  • developing change leaders of the future through world-class graduate education
  • delivering actionable insights through research
  • bringing together social entrepreneurs, thought leaders and key players in business, government and philanthropy to enhance social impact

Entrepreneurship Centre

The Entrepreneurship Centre supports and enables entrepreneurship across the Oxford Saïd student body.

We offer a variety of programmes for all Oxford University students, alumni and staff, designed with the aim of fostering entrepreneurial learning and connection across the University.

Some concepts of entrepreneurship can be taught, but ultimately it is learned from experience, so you can never fully prepare other than by doing.
