Jianguo Liu has been full Associate Professor at Business School of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology since 2009. He received his first PhD in Management Science at the Dalian University of Technology, PRC and his second PhD in theoretical physics at the University of Freiburg, Switzerland. His interests are strongly interdisciplinary. At present his main research focus is on developing a generalisable approach to understanding the correlation between the dynamic and functional properties of networks in different fields, such as personalised recommendations, large-scale mobile data analysis and social networks.
