The Law & Finance Senior Practitioner Lectures provide a forum for interaction between Faculty, students and distinguished practitioners, policymakers and business leaders working at the intersection of law and finance. Lectures are given on a wide variety of subjects including, amongst many others, financial markets and regulation, insolvency and debt restructuring and financial law and development.

The annual Oxford Private Equity Forum brings together private equity practitioners, investment bankers, lawyers and senior executives to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing global investors within the private equity industry. Previous speakers have included: Jon Moulton, Managing Partner, Alchemy; Adrian Beecroft, Chief Investment Officer, Apax Partners; Nadim Barakat, Managing Director, Customized Fund Investment Group, Credit Suisse; and Richard Sharp, Advisory Director, Goldman Sachs.
Established in November 2005 and funded by the Hundred Group, the Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation promotes effective policies for the taxation of business, both through multidisciplinary research into the aims, practice and consequences of those taxes that affect business, plus a variety of other activities. Each year, the Centre hosts a symposium at which Oxford based staff, the Centre's 40 international research fellows, leading business taxation academics from around the world, government officials and business executives get together to debate current issues in taxation.
