Oxford Scenarios Programme
Welcome to the Oxford Scenarios Programme
This 5 day programme enables those involved in the design, analysis and implemention of strategy to test inherent assumptions against multiple future scenarios, and effectively prepare their organisations to manage uncertainty successfully.
Scenario thinking uses longer and broader views of possible futures to more clearly appreciate a world clouded by information overload, rapid change, irreconcilable certitudes and/or persistent uncertainty. Building and using scenarios equips organisations to cope better with uncertainty by anticipating the impact of changes beyond its control and which might reshape the context in which organisations have previously secured success.
The Oxford Scenarios Programme helps organisations to prepare for the worst, while empowering them to strive for the better, repositioning impossibility and possibility.
"After the final day I now feel a responsibility to help my orgnisation make the right strategic decisions. The programme has helped me big time"
Transmission Planning Engineer, Saudi Electricity Company
