Oxford Impact Investing Programme
Welcome to the Oxford Impact Investing Programme
Our aim is to provide leaders from finance, social enterprises, NGOs and philanthropic foundations with the leadership capabilities and skills to develop investments to help long term complex social and environmental problems."
Gayle Peterson, Programme Director, Oxford Impact Investing Programme
The impact investment community has experienced explosive growth. It is estimated that this emerging industry could represent a global market of $500 billion by 2025.
Strategic investments are yielding significant environmental, financial, and social returns. The results are game-changing international innovations in education, affordable housing, healthcare, clean water, and alternative energy.
The Oxford Impact Investing Programme provides a unique opportunity to develop a deep and broad understanding of the sector. We debate workable solutions to complex endemic problems, discuss innovative impact investments from around the world, and develop impact measurement tools.
Our programme is the first fully comprehensive week long executive programme of its kind from a Financial Times ranked business school. We draw on the latest reseach conducted through the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship by Professor Alex Nicholls, our Academic Director. His research covers the broader areas of social entrepreneurship and social innovation which encompasses social finance and impact investing. Alex recently released the first comprehensive book on Social Finance and this up-to-date research is used as the basis for all the key sessions he delivers on the programme.
Our Impact Investing Programme has been offered since 2013 and to date we have had 51 nationalities represented from 46 different work countries across all 7 continents.
We invite you to come and co-develop your impact investing strategy with us.
