Student treks

Student treks are student-led visits to certain parts of the world with a view to understanding what it is like to do business there. Students meet potential recruiters and alumni of the School in professional settings and for informal social events.

They are one of many ways in which the School supports the students’ career search and also builds and sense of community by engaging alumni and recruiters. Treks typically occur around the Easter holiday between Hilary and Trinity term and last anywhere from 7-14 days.

Our careers service will support you in finding industry-related alumni in relevant geographic areas, with access to careers contacts and with introductions to appropriate recruiters.

Some examples of past treks  include;

  • Silicon Valley
  • Dubai
  • Asia Pacific Trek ( Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong)
  • New York
  • Africa
  • US East Coast Healthcare
