Saïd Business School is pleased to announce the second Oxford Global Islamic Branding and Marketing Forum. The Forum will take place 12-13 July in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The aim of the forum is to build upon the success of the inaugural forum held in 2010 and bring together government and business leaders, marketing and branding professionals and thought leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities in reaching out to and engaging the Muslim market.
While it is well known that the size of the Muslim consumer market is approximately 1.6 billion and the Halal market alone worth over $2.1 trillion, questions and debate remain on the strategies that work best in reaching this growing market. Some key questions this forum seeks to address include:
- What does the Muslim world of today look like? What are the current challenges and opportunities for Islamic Branding and Marketing?
- What are the latest trends in the Muslim market and the best practices in reaching out to the Muslim consumer?
- What are the values and aspirations of today’s Muslim youth? What are the implications of new communication technologies for marketers?
- How can businesses develop strategies that reach Muslims and non Muslims as well?
- How can country branding help Muslim nations and their companies to excel?
This Forum will be an excellent platform to hear from experts and practitioners and industry titans on how they engage the Muslim Market. Network with delegates from the UK, USA, the Middle East and Asia and gain insight into the latest branding and marketing trends and practices.
