The Excellence in Business Leadership Award is an annual award that recognises the achievements of an outstanding alumna of a post-graduate degree of the Saïd Business School.
The Award aims to build a culture of women assuming senior business leadership roles, raise the profile and influence of women in the business community, and inspire women currently completing their studies at Oxford to achieve their full career potential.
The Award is he only one of its kind among European business schools. As such, it makes a unique contribution to the broader appreciation of the achievements of women in business, government and other sectors.
The Excellence in Business Leadership Award was established in 2010. The inaugural Award received the personal commendation of Dean Colin Mayer for the contribution it made to the School’s student and alumni community. It has the endorsement of the Oxford Business Alumni and is led by the Women in Business Group, together with the support of the Women in Business Alumni Board.
For 2012, the Women in Business Group and the Alumni Board are seeking the support of a corporate sponsor to bolster the profile and credibility of the initiative.
