Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation
Doctoral meeting 2013
The Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation held its third Doctoral Meeting on 26-27 September 2013.
The doctoral meeting brings together top PhD students and junior researchers on an international level. Selected work focuses on taxation across a number of disciplines including law, economics, and other interdisciplinary areas, related to business taxation, the public sector, and tax policy more generally.
The aim of the event is to provide a stimulating environment in which young scholars can discuss research results, establish informal networks and initiate future collaborative research. The meeting consists of formal sessions in which young scholars present their work, followed by comments from senior discussants. The Centre Director Michael Devereux, Programme Directors and Research Fellows attended the presentations and gave feedback.
The best paper prize went jointly to two recipients, Nathan Seegert (University of Utah), and Eric Zwick (University of Harvard).
