Paul Bultema, Partner, Accenture
I’m a partner in the strategy consulting practice for Accenture, dealing with communications and hi-tech companies in the UK, and strategy and innovation are the issues that face my clients daily.
The programme goes beyond an MBA in the sense that it goes deeper into these specific subjects. The study is tangible and pragmatic, yet it is more conceptual in how you apply them. The tutors have been great, they are very upbeat and give good lectures and there is outstanding networking. The breadth of experience of people on this course is just incredible.
This programme is really giving me what I need to apply it to my current assignments and clients, to develop a broader remit, and to step up to the next level. I could not recommend the programme, the lecturers or the administrators more highly. |

Elizabeth Filippouli, Managing Director, We Media UK and CEO of Global Thinkers
It’s a programme at a very high-rated university and clients really notice that. Universities such as Oxford are global brands, and people know that behind the name is the kind of experience and knowledge that only the top schools can offer.
Our class is highly experienced, and many of them are in big companies so there is great expertise and a huge diversity of backgrounds. This really elevates discussions and interactions. So many things are being generated as we talk and study that I can’t help myself coming up with new ideas and thinking of new partnerships and collaborations! |
Tamra Capstick-Dale, Managing Director, Corporate Image Ltd
I’ve completed the first module and I can already see that the programme is providing the underlying logic to all those decisions you take every day without fully understanding the basis on which you are taking them. It provides an academic platform and gives rigour and robustness to what you do.
It’s all incredibly interesting. The lecturers have been engaging, with a good knowledge of case studies, and the textbook we use is excellent. Also everyone in the class is incredibly supportive.

Gerard Newman, Head of Finance Transformation, John Lewis Partnership
If you are looking to expose yourself to new ideas, to stretch your thinking, and to challenge your personal points of reference, the Oxford Diploma is ideal. It won't just recharge your intellectual batteries, it will increase the voltage. The programme put my business experience into context, and expanded, broadened and deepened my understanding. As the world becomes more complex, you increasingly have to find innovative solutions to business problems, and the Diploma provides the tools to do that.
From a personal point of view, it has been a life-changing experience. During my time on the programme, I have established a major transformational change project for my organisation. This was directly shaped and influenced by my experience on the programme. I also used the project element of the Oxford Diploma to develop a proposition that PriceWaterhouseCoopers, whom I will be joining in the near future, will be taking to market as a new approach to a significant current problem for the UK public sector. The impact of the Diploma on me and the organisations I work with has already been considerable.
The programme provides a really first class, international faculty, and it’s a great way of interacting with peers and expanding your network. You do feel that you are part of Oxford, despite being here for a relatively short period of time. We have developed our own Programme network and are continually in touch - I hope it continues!
